“During my fifth and sixth cycle I exhibited all around Australia… My work during this period was often highly technical and I experimented with silhouetted metal plates — my link with sculptural forms. …Universal myths were beginning to express themselves in my imagery. It was the evolution of the female primeval force of Aphrodite, with her signs emerging and taking on a new aspect paved the way for the next series, the Body Lithographs, the physical essence of the Goddess expressing her most elementary and profound secrets”.
